MANDALUYONG CITY, PHILIPPINES – It is not a “Goodbye.”, it is just “See you later!”. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity became a reality for ten outstanding fourth-year nursing students when they were chosen as InsightGlobal Health – GRIT Academy scholars in Mandaluyong. This prestigious program served as a stepping stone toward their US DREAM, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and passion for the nursing profession.
The scholars—John Allen B. Guisdan, Brian Jefferson M. Gogoc, Russel John M. Olivo, Xyla Rayven C. Generao, Lee Janssen G. Nuñez, Phillip William A. Alvarado, Kyla Nicole S. Mondiguing, Ansarolah M. Gagato, Divine A. Tacwang, and Sophia Nicole L. Magamano—were honored for their exceptional commitment to their studies and future careers. As part of the program, they were provided with accommodations, food, and transportation, allowing them to fully focus on their training and preparation for their journey to the United States.

A Scholarship Built on Excellence and Dedication
Being selected as a scholar of GRIT Academy was no small feat. Each of the students had demonstrated remarkable academic performance, perseverance, and a deep dedication to patient care. Their rigorous training, combined with their passion for the nursing profession, set them apart as truly deserving recipients of this prestigious opportunity.
The InsightGlobal Health—GRIT Academy, ensured that these scholars received top-tier training, mentorship, and resources to prepare them for their future roles in the international healthcare industry. Through this program, they were equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as globally competitive nurses.

For these ten scholars, this scholarship was more than just financial support—it was a recognition of their hard work and potential. As they completed their training, they took significant steps toward realizing their aspirations of working in the United States healthcare system.
The rotation may have ended, but their journey is just beginning. With grit, determination, and the strong foundation built at GRIT Academy, they are now better prepared to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Their dedication has brought them this far, and with their unwavering passion, their US DREAM is now closer than ever.
