BAGUIO CITY – The Supreme Student Council (SSC) of the University of Baguio wrapped up the month of love with the much-anticipated Lover’s Fest Part 2. This heartwarming event was not just a celebration of love and togetherness but also a testament to the power of collaboration between the SSC and various schools within the university.
In partnership with the School of Nursing, School of Information Technology, and School of Natural Sciences, the event transformed into a vibrant marketplace filled with creativity, entrepreneurship, and delightful treats. Each participating school brought something unique to the table, making the fest a lively and engaging experience for students and faculty alike.
The School of Information Technology set up a photobooth where attendees could capture memories with their friends and loved ones. They also sold a variety of handmade and tech-inspired products, including cookies, 3D-printed keychains, crocheted flowers and bouquets, and donuts, making their booth a hotspot for students looking for sweet treats and meaningful keepsakes.

Meanwhile, the School of Nursing showcased their school spirit by selling their exclusive merchandise, offering students the opportunity to take home branded items representing their department. They also set up a mirror photobooth, adding a unique touch to the event’s photo opportunities. Their booth was a haven for those with a sweet tooth, as they offered chocolates and sweet snacks, spreading love one bite at a time.

On the other hand, the School of Natural Sciences impressed the crowd with an array of handcrafted and personalized items. Their booth featured keychains, DIY bracelets, cookies, charms, stickers, badges, and necklaces, providing a variety of gift-worthy trinkets that students eagerly purchased throughout the day.

The Lover’s Fest Part 2 turned out to be a resounding success, with most of the items selling out by the end of the event. This achievement not only highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit of the students but also emphasized the importance of interdepartmental collaboration. The initiative taken by the SSC to partner with different schools allowed them to showcase their talents, promote their respective departments, and encourage student entrepreneurship.
Beyond being a commercial and social success, the event reinforced the essence of camaraderie and support within the university community. It proved that when students come together with a shared goal, they can create meaningful and enjoyable experiences that leave a lasting impact. The SSC Lover’s Fest Part 2 truly embodied the spirit of love—not just romantic love, but also love for creativity, community, and student-led initiatives.
With this incredible turnout, students are already looking forward to the next installment of the Lover’s Fest, eager to see what new surprises and collaborations await. Until then, the memories and sweet moments of this year’s event will continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who participated.
