BAGUIO CITY — For the University of Baguio, participating in the Panagbenga Booth Events is more than simply joining the festivities. It is an opportunity for students and the community to come together through small yet meaningful endeavors led by various university organizations.
With the theme, “Blooming without end”, the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Incorporated (BFFI) initiated the Handog ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio, an event that highlights the beauty, resiliency, and growth of the city throughout the years.

On February 14, 2026, at the Melvin Jones Grandstand and Football Grounds, different booths from various universities gathered to celebrate the upcoming season in bloom. Among the participants were booths from the University of Baguio, organized and spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) in partnership with severa; organizations from the university’s different schools.
Dr. Froilan C. Aspa, Director of Student Affairs, explained the purpose of the initiative.
“Ang purpose kasi nito is parang lahat ng school in University of Baguio, lahat sila ay kung anong mga events na they can offer to the community.” he said.
He added that several schools participated in the event which each showcasing activities and services that reflected their field, allowing the public to engage and interact with the university community. This year’s participating departments offered various services, including: dental check-up (SOD), blood typing and posture checking (SNS), blood sugar, blood sampling, and blood pressure check-up (SON), face painting (SEA), art and pot painting (STELA), and a
The event was also in collaboration with the Supreme Student Council (SSC), who assisted the different schools in preparing and managing their booths.

“For this event, like Session in Bloom, it’s more so to bring the community together. The organizations here are focused on the community, to bring people together and at the same time enjoy and have a good time,” said Kyra Kelly, the Secretary of the Supreme Student Council.
Aligned with the event’s theme of giving, the University of Baguio once again affirmed its commitment to serve the community of Baguio City. Through its participation in the Panagbenga Booth Events, UB continues to strengthen its connection with the people while celebrating the spirit of unity and service.
As colors blossomed across the Melvin Jones grounds, the University of Baguio’s booths became more than festival spaces, they became spaces of service, learning, and connection. In every check-up, painted pot, and shared smile, UB brought its mission to life beyond the classroom.
Like the Pangbenga Flower Festival, the university continues to bloom, growing not only in excellence, but in its commitment to serve the community it calls home.
