On June 24, 2024, 100 students from the University of Baguio (UB) received a sponsored one-year subscription to ReSkills, an online learning platform, through the Global ReSkilling Movement (GRM). ReSkills, founded in 2020, offers live online classes taught by expert coaches from around the world. The platform allows learners to study anytime, anywhere, while earning accredited certificates after completing courses.
To recognize the most active learners and advocates of the platform, GRM held an awards ceremony on September 20, 2024. The event, held on Zoom from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, honored six UB students—Eloise Angela V. Dumapis, Jeshuah Leigh E. Juan, Leslie S. Dayote, Michelle Joyce U. Quitaleg, Mikaela Claire T. Casrada, and Mitchi Ann Nimer—who received the GRM Active Learner Award.

With the recognition of these UB students, along with other ReSkills users worldwide, the event highlighted everyone’s dedication to continuous learning and their commitment to making the most of the opportunities offered by the ReSkills platform. Their success serves as an inspiration for others to embrace lifelong learning in an ever-changing world and to advocate for accessible, quality education for all.
