UB Psychology Students Rally Together for Women’s Month 2024

BS Psychology students from the School of Teacher and Liberal Arts (STELA) actively participated in this year’s celebration of Women’s Month. They supported the theme “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas; Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan,” honoring the strength and resilience of women in society.

Under the leadership of the UB Psyche Officers, the students engaged in various activities to demonstrate their support for Women’s Month. They initiated distributing purple ribbons to their program, symbolizing solidarity with women’s rights and empowerment. The event, titled “Empowering SHEroes: A Tribute to Strength and Resilience,” highlighted the invaluable contributions of women to society. It provided a platform to recognize the achievements and struggles of women from the past and present.

Through their active involvement, the BS Psychology students showcased their commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment. Miss Jan Repomanta, Secretary of the UB Psyche Org, emphasized the significance of acknowledging and celebrating women’s accomplishments and the awareness for gender equality.
